Brest Bay Michigan

    Each of these pictures were taken 8-21-08 in Stony Point, Michigan over looking Brest Bay. Living near Lake Erie, the lake and it's shoreline provide many interesting oppertunities for capturing beauty. This picture was taken with an apature of f8 and a shutter speed of 1/125. The foreground and background are both softenend and out of focus allowing the trees to retain their detail (at large view). The pourpose of this shot was to allign the trees in a diagnal line running through the main subject (sunset).

Bay Hill

    Again this picture was taken along the bay from atop Bay Hill. This picture used a foreground of the trees to frame the shot. An apature of f5.2 and a shutter speed of 1/60 were used. Click on image to see larger view.

Warmth and Beauty

    There is just something about the feeling you get from sunsets and nature. I spend allot of time photographing in those areas. This picture was also taken with and apature of f5.2 and a shutter speed of 1/60.

Summer On The Bay

    I have many many fishing memories from this particular spot. Not everyday does it look like this but it is always beautiful. You learn more of the world if you look at it like you would through a camera lens.

Though The Reeds

    It won't be long now before the colors leaves will change and fall providing for those great silhouette shots with sunset as a backdrop behing the bare trees. Though everyday is beautiful I'm sure glad I took some pictures of this one.
